Your guide to activities and fun things to do with your preschoolers, toddlers and kids in Halifax, NS

Halifax has always lived up to it's reputation of being a city of the arts. Music, art and theatre are strongly ingrained in the culture and are celebrated proudly. There are opportunities for preschoolers to watch Children's Theatre through many of the theatre companies. Being that everything comes alive in Canada in the Spring and Summer, I wasn't surprised not to find many performances in the near future. For example, Shakespeare by the Sea has amazing performances for children but only in the summer time. However, I was able to find a couple performances that are bound to be a huge hit with preschoolers!

I am totally going to look into getting tickets for my daughter and I to see the Nutcracker. I have always wanted to see a performance and feel so lucky to be able to experience for the first time with my girl! Which performance would you want to experience with your preschooler?
