The Best of the Best

December 30, 2008

Halifax has been part of the Savvy Source for Parents since September, and I have had a blast writing and researching topics. Now that the weather is cold and frightful at times, in the new year we will be focusing on winter activities to keep your preschooler active and your sanity.

Looking back at the last few months a few favourite posts come to mind. My favourites appear to also be the most popular ones as well. Here is a look back at the top three posts from Being Savvy Halifax:

  1. The Story that Helped - During the Savvy Source Books that Make you Wonder month in November, I shared with you the book that helped our preschooler deal with the grief of losing her best friend, her beloved cat.
  2. Tips for last minute shopping - Not only a great set of tips for shopping, but I was on tv! It was an amazing experience to be considered an "expert" and having my thoughts shared!
  3. Tour a Fire Station with your Preschooler - This was such an amazing activity to do with a group of friends. My perschooler, although very shy while there, really took a lot from the visit with the fire fighters and fire safety. I look forward to booking another trip in the spring, when the fire fighters promised to turn on the hoses!

I am looking forward to sharing more of Halifax, life with preschoolers and more with you all in the coming year.
May your New Year be blessed with happiness!
