Singing Lullabies

March 03, 2009

Singing lullabies to your babies, toddlers and even preschoolers is a wonderful way to establish a strong child-parent bond. It is so reassuring for both you and your child to have that same song or collection of songs to sing to each other. Imagine the joy, years down the road hearing your grown child singing the same song/songs to their baby and children!

Lullabies and Soothing Songs

March 02, 2009

Our children have fallen asleep to music from the beginning. It started out due to the fact that we lived in an apartment. Since my husband and I were not ready for bed at 7:30pm, we wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for our baby, while being able to move around the small space. It worked like a charm. Mozart, Moby or Miles

October 01, 2008

When I think music and kids in Halifax, I instantly think of heading down to the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning. Probably not your most traditional place to go, however the atmosphere is bustling and alive and the kids have so much to take in. The Buskers that play at the Farmer,s Market range from classical to fiddle, from folk to rock. The children can experience young and old enjoying  Read more...
