Creating an Outdoor Party

Our preschooler turned five on Monday. It amazes me that we now have a school age child in our home! She had a quiet day with her brother and myself, we went to the Discovery Centre, baked cupcakes and opened a few presents. The big celebration occurs this weekend. I am struggling to claim a day. We have been watching the weather trying to decide which day would be best to host her party. However, the weather keeps changing. One day it is to rain Saturday, the next day it is to rain Sunday. Not to mention I am almost 39 weeks pregnant, cramping regularly and could do into to labour at anytime!

New Places to Explore

There are a few new businesses that I have heard about through the grapevine that I thought I would share with you. Preschool and children specific services are always nice to have in the area. In fact I was surprised when we moved to Halifax there was not more kid specific places. Well it looks like I just needed to be a little more patient! I have not had the opportunity to check out these businesses first hand yet, but they are definitely on the To Do list!
