What's Happening - March in Halifax

While we all pine for spring weather, March has begun and given us more snow! Ack! However we have had some nice weather melting the ice and snow away. It is only a matter of time and spring will arrive! March brings Spring Break for schools, so there are a lot of activities going on that week. Being that we do not have school age children yet, we usually lie low that week, spending time with friends at playdates rather than fight the crowds. Soundtrack for Life

For the next couple weeks we are going to take a look at music and children. My kids have not taken formal music classes yet. I believe there will be time for that later, once they have developed more. That is not to say that we do not believe music is important. Both my husband and I have a wide range of music tastes and enjoy sharing music with our children. It is one of our goals to purchase a piano in the future so that our children can learn to play (maybe me too!)
